“Whether they are regular consumers, members of the business community, or those currently underserved, unserved, unbanked, and underbanked. Moreover, SCC’s efforts to facilitate foreign tourists and businesses, both within Sabah and wherever YONO operates, are crucial in today’s globalized world.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to SCC for embracing the challenge and spearheading initiatives that drive digital transformation within our state agencies,” he said.

Masidi urged all State Government departments and agencies to embrace this innovative solution wholeheartedly. “Let us recognize the transformative potential of YONO and integrate it seamlessly into our operations.”
He encouraged all State Government departments and agencies to use YONO to enhance their service delivery and easily access their services and products.
“There is no need to reinvent the wheel but to ride on the facilities that have been prepared by another state statutory body to minimise costs for the departments and agencies and, indirectly, the State Government,” he said.
Masidi also encouraged the local and business community to utilise the state-owned facilities to facilitate their dealings as well as to support their local agencies in building a better society for all to live in harmony and unity.
“YONO acts as a bridge between government departments and the people in Sabah. It is not merely a transaction tool, it is a convenience tool. This app breaks down barriers and brings services closer to the people, creating a more interconnected and responsive government.
“We are not just embracing technology; we are empowering our citizens, enhancing transparency, and building a stronger, more prosperous Sabah,” he said.
