Christina was accompanied by Datin Chong Mi Yin, wife of Datuk Jimmy Yong, Life Honorary President of the Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS), as well as her Political Secretary Datuk Vivien Lee during the symbolic prosperity ritual.
Also participating were Yee Tsai Yiew, Special Officer to the Chief Minister; Datuk Lucy Yong, wife of Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister; Puan Sri Joanne Ho, wife of Tan Sri T C Goh, President of FCAS; and Datin Mary Wong, wife of Datuk Edward Yong, Honorary Adviser to FCAS.
The celebration was organised by FCAS as part of its annual Chinese New Year festivities aimed at fostering unity, cultural appreciation and goodwill among the community.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, who was the guest of honour, was represented by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam at the event.
