KOTA KINABALU: Calling on the health-conscious public aged 40 and above to avail themselves of the Peka B40 free medical check-up programme on Thursday (November 14).
Organised by the Api-Api People’s Service Centre in collaboration with Permai Polyclinics Group, the event will take place at the foyer of Wisma Tun Fuad Stephens, Karamunsing from 9am to 3pm.
Api-Api Assemblywoman Datuk Seri Christina Liew said as a token of support for B40 households, each participant will receive a 5kg pack of rice contributed by the organisers and Permai Polyclinics Group.
“Don’t miss this opportunity to get an update of your health status,” said Liew.
Permai Polyclinics Group Founder and Chairman Datuk Dr James Jeremiah will lead a team of doctors and nurses in carrying out various tests under the free medical check-up programme.
Those who are under the B40 category will be eligible for the following tests :
Blood pressure check, body mass index, mental appraisal, draw blood for full blood count, lipid profile, diabetes studies, renal function tests and urine analysis.
However, for those who are not eligible, they will still have their blood pressure check and blood sugar test.
