KOTA KINABALU: Unity of struggle between people and leaders has shown the right and proper effort has successfully overcome the challenges of leadership of the Sabah State Government recently.
Sabah Deputy Chief Minister cum Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) Sabah President Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey G Kitingan said, various challenges to achieve the struggle of the people requires the unity of party members to support the right struggle.
“In facing various challenges, party members should be ready to shoulder the responsibility of finding answers and solutions to the crisis faced without thinking of any excuses,” he said.
Dr Jeffrey explained that the ability of leaders and the people of Sabah to think sensibly to reject and support what is appropriate has helped the leadership of the state government overcome the crisis well.
Dr Jeffrey who is also Keningau Member of Parliament and Tambunan assemblyman said this when officiating the Wiranita STAR Sabah Dinner at a hotel here.
Also present were Assistant Minister of Community Development and People’s Welfare Datuk Flovea Ng who is also the Wiranita STAR Chief, Acting STAR Deputy President Datuk Kapitan Stephen Teo, Secretary General Datuk Edward Linggu, Vice President cum Director of Strategy Dr Paul Porodong and contributors.
Touching on the ceremony, Dr Jeffrey hoped that the effort could help the party’s wing to improve its approach to the people while describing women as natural leaders because in the family women shoulder many responsibilities.
