KOTA KINABALU: Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Berhad (KTC) has appointed Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali as Chairman of the Board, marking an important step in strengthening the Group’s governance and long-term growth strategy.
Mohd Zuki, the former Chief Secretary to the Malaysian Government, brings decades of distinguished public service and leadership experience, along with deep institutional insight.
His appointment is expected to further enhance KTC’s strategic direction and engagement with stakeholders across both the public and private sectors.

Dexter Lau
KTC Executive Director Datuk Dexter Lau said the Group is honoured to welcome Mohd Zuki, noting that his extensive leadership experience and understanding of national priorities will provide valuable guidance as KTC continues to strengthen its governance and build a resilient, forward-looking organisation.
He added that as the Group expands its operations, it will anchor its national and regional growth from East Malaysia as a strategic hub, while continuing to work closely with industry partners to enhance supply chain connectivity and advance expansion and investment initiatives across Malaysia and the wider region.
KTC remains committed to supporting supply chain efficiency and improving market access, particularly across East Malaysia, while strengthening its foundation for sustainable growth at both national and regional levels.
Mohd Zuki will serve as Non-Executive Chairman, providing oversight and strategic guidance to the Board in line with the Group’s long-term priorities.
