KOTA KINABALU: Manchester United supporters in Malaysia have a chance to turn their dream into reality, with at least 10 lucky fans set to win all-expenses-paid trips to Old Trafford at the 8th United Malaysia Annual Dinner on June 27.
However, tickets for the biggest annual gathering of the country’s official Manchester United FC supporters’ club are selling fast.
United Malaysia President Batholomew Jingulam urged members and supporters who have yet to secure their seats to do so as soon as possible.
“We have more than 1,000 people attending to date, but have decided to add more tables to accommodate the increasing demand for seats at the dinner,” he said in a statement.
“However, those seats are limited and once they are snapped up, no additional allocations can be made as the venue has reached its capacity.
“So, if you want a chance to win one of those trips through the lucky raffle draw, or simply be part of a historic occasion, get your tickets before they are sold out.
“The annual dinner remains the club’s largest gathering of Manchester United supporters from across the country,” he added.
This year’s dinner, themed ‘United Unite!!! The Next Chapter’, will be held at the Hakka Hall in Kota Kinabalu.
Supporters interested in attending can contact Darrell Ho at 016-831 1062 for tickets.
The event will feature a packed programme of Manchester United-themed activities, exclusive merchandise and the much-anticipated lucky raffle draw, which has become a fan favourite over the years.
Batholomew said enthusiasm among supporters has reached record levels with the event’s return to Kota Kinabalu after being hosted in Kuching and Kuala Lumpur in 2024 and 2025 respectively.
“As usual, the dinner in Kota Kinabalu is eagerly awaited by members and supporters of the Red Devils across Malaysia.
“In previous dinners held here, we recorded more than 1,000 attendees, and we expect no less this year as we begin the next chapter of our journey as a fan community,” he said.
