KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor witnessed the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) ceremony involving Assistant Ministers and Political Secretaries at Menara Kinabalu here today.
The ceremony began with the Assistant Ministers and Political Secretaries reciting the IBR as a mark of commitment to strengthen integrity and accountable governance in the state administration.
Following the signing of the Corruption-Free Pledge by all participants, Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai and Chief Political Secretary to the Chief Minister Azrul Ibrahim each representing the Assistant Ministers and Political Secretaries respectively, handed the IBR documents to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Sabah Director Datuk Mohd Fuad Bee Basrah.
Mohd Fuad, who witnessed the ceremony gave a special briefing on anti-corruption prevention efforts and strengthening of an integrity culture within the public service.
Also present were the Chief Minister’s Department’s Cabinet and Policy Division Director Dayang Noorashikhin Zulkefli and the Chief Minister’s Integrity Advisor Chief Senior Assistant Commissioner (KPKPj) of the MACC Awang Samsul Baharam Bungso.
