TUARAN: More than 10,000 people attended the Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house hosted by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor and family at Dewan Seri Sulaman here today.
Graced by Head of State Tun Musa Aman and wife Toh Puan Faridah Tussin, the event was filled with performances by local artists and songbirds Marsha Milan Londoh and Misha Omar.
Hajiji also accompanied Musa to present Duit Raya to underprivileged children in the district.

Met by the press later, the Chief Minister was happy with the turnout, saying it is an
annual event to allow the people from all walks of life to celebrate Hari Raya together.
“This open house is to foster greater relations among us,” he said.
Among those present were State Legislative Assembly Speaker Datuk Kadzim M Yahya, State Cabinet members, State Secretary Datuk Seri Sr Safar Untong, elected representatives and local community leaders.
