KOTA KINABALU: SKG Green Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Sawit Kinabalu Group, has been rebranded as SK Green Services & Tours Sdn Bhd effective March 26, 2026, in line with the expansion of its service scope and tourism offerings.
Its Chief Executive Officer Philipa Wilfred Mojilis said the company was initially established to support ecotourism initiatives centred around the Sungai Pin Conservation Area (SPnCA) in Kinabatangan, built on years of conservation and biodiversity efforts within Sawit Kinabalu’s operational landscape.
She said that as the company’s role continues to evolve, it has expanded beyond conservation-based tourism to include a broader range of programmes, including its Educational Tour initiative across Sawit Kinabalu’s estates, mills and nurseries.
“The new name reflects who we are today and where we are heading. As we expand our offerings to include both conservation and educational experiences, it is important that our identity captures the full scope of our services,” she said.
Philipa added that the company remains committed to promoting sustainable tourism while raising awareness of Sabah’s natural and agricultural landscapes.
The rebranding reflects the company’s long-term vision to strengthen its position in Sabah’s eco and educational tourism sector, while continuing to support Sawit Kinabalu Group’s sustainability and community engagement efforts.
