Hajiji presenting contributions to the Hajj pilgrims.
KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor has sent off the first group of 137 Hajj pilgrims from Sabah who will be performing the pilgrimage this year.
They are part of a total of 962 pilgrims from Sabah who will be departing for the Holy Land to fulfil the Hajj.

The Chief Minister also presented contributions to the pilgrims during a ceremony held at the Tabung Haji Building in Sembulan here last night.
Also present were Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Senator Dato Setia Dr Haji Mohd Na’im Haji Mokhtar, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Datuk Dr Mohd Ariffin Mohd Arif, and State Secretary Datuk Seri Sr Safar Untong.
