KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor handed over 45 boats for distribution to the State Fire and Rescue Department and 12 district disaster management committees at Menara Kinabalu here today.
Also present were State Cabinet Ministers, State Secretary Datuk Seri Sr Safar Untong and Home Affairs and Research Secretary Datuk Haji Awang Shahminan Sahari.

At the ceremony, 15 boats were handed to the State Fire and Rescue Department, while the rest three each to Pitas, Kota Marudu, Penampang, Tenom, Beaufort and Paitan.
Kota Kinabalu, Kota Belud, Papar, Tuaran, Sipitang and Tongod were allocated two boats each.
