KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) will hold a series of programmes in conjunction with its 41st Annual Delegates Conference from 24 to 26 September 2026, culminating in the main conference at Dewan Hakka, Teluk Likas, Kota Kinabalu.
PBS Information Chief Datuk Joniston Bangkuai said the three-day programme will bring together the party leadership, Supreme Council members, Division Chiefs, delegates, as well as representatives of the PBS Youth and Women’s wings from across Sabah.
On 25 September 2026, the 41st Annual Delegates Conferences of the PBS Women’s and Youth Movements will be held at Dewan Hakka, Likas.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to be attended by PBS Acting President Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam, together with PBS Women’s Chief Datin Seri Malianah Ugau, PBS Youth Chief Datuk Dr Christopher Mandut, senior party leaders and delegates.
The programme will include the singing of patriotic songs, prayers, the pledge, speeches by the Women’s and Youth leadership, as well as an officiating address by the PBS Acting President.
On the evening of 25 September, PBS will also host the Majlis Makan Malam Bersatu, or Unity Dinner, at Dewan Hakka, bringing together party leaders and members in a spirit of fellowship and unity ahead of the main conference the following day.
The main event will take place on Saturday, 26 September 2026, with the convening of the 41st PBS Annual Delegates Conference.
Delegates and observers from PBS Divisions across Sabah are expected to arrive from early morning, followed by members of the party’s senior leadership.
The conference will begin with a welcoming address by PBS Secretary-General Datuk Julita Majungki, who is the Organising Chairperson, followed by the Policy Address and official opening of the 41st PBS Annual Delegates Conference by Dr Joachim.
A press conference is also scheduled for 11.45am, before the delegates’ conference proceeds at 1.30pm.
The conference agenda includes the presentation of the Secretary-General’s Report and Treasurer-General’s Report, consideration of motions, debate on the policy address, as well as matters relating to the organisation and leadership of the party.
Joniston said the 41st annual conference will also provide an important platform for delegates to deliberate on party matters and further strengthen the organisation and relationship between the central leadership and PBS Divisions throughout Sabah.
The conference is expected to conclude at about 5pm with the winding-up address and adjournment.
