TUARAN: Construction of the 20.8-kilometre Serusup-Pinturu Pan Borneo Highway project (WP09) is progressing well, with the 682-metre bridge spanning Sungai Sulaman expected to be completed by December next year.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor was briefed on the progress by Superintending Officer Representative (SOR) Theodora Thomas George during a site visit today.
Hajiji, who is also Sulaman Assemblyman, took time off to inspect the progress of the RM465 million project, which is expected to be completed in July 2028.
Also present were Nominated Assemblyman Datuk Kassim Razali, District Officer Ibrahim Terki and project contractor Joseph Yu Sin Kong.
