KOTA KINABALU: SMJ Energy Sdn Bhd has donated RM1 million to assist flood victims in the state, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor today.
Hajiji commended SMJ Energy for responding to the State Government’s call for GLCs to assist flood victims in the state.
The donations would complement the State and Federal Governments’ initiatives to help those affected by floods, he said.
The fund would be channelled through the State Disaster Management Committee.
