Hajiji extending his condolence to Aristhotle who lost his wife and son during the Sept 15 landslide at Kampung Mook, Kinarut
KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor visited several areas badly affected by landslide and floods in Beaufort, Bongawan, Papar, Kinarut, Penampang and here, today.
Hajiji first visited Dewan Raya Tandugal Kampung Mook in Kinarut where he met with Aristhotle @ Jude Joseph who lost his wife Emily Johnny, 38, and son, Xarell Myre Aristhotle, 11, when their house was struck by landslide debris during heavy downpour on September 15.
He presented contributions including assistance for Aristhotle and his siblings to repair their houses before visiting the tragedy site.

Thereafter, the Chief Minister proceeded to Dewan Kampung Marahang, Papar where he met with Benney Binjamis @ Emis whose wife Wong Moi Ling @ Meymey, 34, and his two children Kamey Asphereynda Benney, 10, and Christen Kell Benney, 6, perished when their house was struck by landslide at Kampung Marahang Tuntul on September 15 morning.
Hajiji also presented contributions to Benney and his family.
Later, Hajiji went to the Salagon Permanent Relocation Centre (PPK) in Beaufort where he presented aids to flood victims comprising 83 families and to another 56 families at Dewan Masyarakat Bongawan.

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister went to inspect the Country Heights housing and Gaya Teachers’ Training Institute also affected by landslide.
