KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (StarSabah) will be holding a joint convention this Saturday (July 12), with deliberations focusing on current issues and preparations for the upcoming State elections.
To be held at the Hongkod Koisaan in Penampang, the convention is expected to be officiated by Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Chairman, Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor.
More than 5,000 people, including party leaders, grassroots representatives, and members of both parties, are expected to attend.
Invitations have also been extended to component party leaders within the GRS coalition.
PBS Acting President Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam and StarSabah President Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan are slated to deliver keynote addresses on the way forward in facing the coming state election.
The convention follows the Memorandum of Understanding signed between PBS and StarSabah on April 18, 2024, aimed at strengthening cooperation to secure GRS’s success at the polls.
