KOTA KINABALU: Api-Api Assemblywoman Datuk Seri Christina Liew has been consistent in providing financial support to needy students of Kian Kok Middle School to ease the burden of low-income families.
This year, she extended the necessary assistance to Denise Koshy, 17, a Senior II student, and Candace Lee, 14, a Junior II student. On hand to receive the contribution from Liew on Thursday was school teacher Teh Poh Suan, witnessed by the School Secretary Georgianne Ho Tze Hung.
Both scholars expressed their gratitude to the Api-Api Assemblywoman for her concern for their wellbeing.
“Work hard, and I wish you all the best in your educational pursuit,” Liew told the students.
