KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Institute of Art (SIA) and De Glamz Academy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) here Aug 18 to collaborate on enhancing the educational and career prospects for individuals that are interested in the beauty industry.
According to a statement, the primary goal of this collaboration is to broaden the availability of beauty short courses, providing students with more choices and pathways towards professional careers.
By combining their strengths, SIA and De Glamz Academy seek to create a conducive learning environment for individuals passionate about the beauty sector.
“This collaboration represents a significant step forward in aligning education with industry needs,” said Dayang Mahsuri Abdul Rahim, Chief of Executive of SIA.
“Our joint efforts will equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the beauty industry,” she said.

As part of this collaboration, both parties will work together to develop and offer a range of beauty short courses including a full makeup course and a manicure course and other various aspects of the industry.
