BERLIN: Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew launched the multilingual Sabah Brochure at ITB Berlin 2024 here yesterday.
It was produced by Sabah Tourism Board (STB) in multiple languages, including German, Dutch, French, and Spanish.
Speaking at the event, Liew, who is leading the Sabah delegation, said the brochure is a guide for those eager to explore Sabah’s wonders, and that its publication in multiple languages reaffirmed STB’s commitment to inclusivity.
She stressed that the unveiling of the multilingual Sabah Brochure signified a key moment in promoting Sabah’s landscapes, cultures, and wildlife.
“We recognise the importance of providing information in various languages to ensure everyone feels welcome.
“Today marks a significant milestone in our mission to showcase Sabah’s beauty and hospitality.
“Whether you crave adventure in our rainforests, serenity on our beaches or immersion in our culture, Sabah has something to captivate you,” said Liew.
Among those who witnessed the ceremony were Assistant Minister and STB Chairman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Josie Lai Mei Sing, STB Chief Executive Officer Julinus Jeffery Jimit, and Tourism Malaysia Senior Director (International Promotion Division) Iskandar Mirza Mohd Yusof.
