KOTA KINABALU: More than 10,000 people from all walks of life attended the Chinese New Year open house hosted by the State Government and Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS).
The event at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here today was graced by Head of State (TYT) Tun Juhar Mahiruddin and Toh Puan Norlidah R.M Jasni together with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor and Datin Seri Datuk Juliah Salag.

They were greeted by main organising chairperson Datuk Christina Liew who is Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister and other Cabinet ministers.
On arrival, the guest-of-honour and guests were greeted by lion dance performances and a 350-foot long Dragon replica at the SICC plaza.
