They were welcomed on arrival at the Liszt Ferenc Airport, Budapest by Francisco Munis, the Malaysia Ambassador to Hungary, Slovenia and North Macedonia last night.
Present were Assistant Minister and STB Chairman Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Josie Lai Mei Sing, Sri Pelancongan Sabah Chairman Ken Pan Ying On and STB Chief Executive Officer Julinus Jeffery Jimit.
Tomorrow (March 11), the Sabah delegation will meet Budapest Mayor Gergely Karacsony and Deputy Mayor Ms Anett Bosz.
There will be engagement sessions with the Hungarian Tourism Agency and the National Federation of Rural Tourism.
