KOTA KINABALU: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) is organising a creative short video contest with the theme “Kita Orang Sabah” offering a total prize of RM50,000.
The contest was launched by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor, who is also President of Gagasan Rakyat, at the party’s headquarters in Alamesra here Friday.

The Organising Chairman Datuk Abdul Kassim Razali said the contest is open to all Malaysians in Sabah and divided into two age categories: the 18-38 years old and 39 years old and above.
He said the winner for each category would bag RM8,000 cash and a trophy.
“The contest’s objective is to encourage Sabahans interested in making creative short videos to enter and showcase their skills.

“In line with the theme “Kita Orang Sabah”, the entries could revolve around the tradition and culture of Sabah people, the natural environment richness, achievements or anything that displays the state’s beauty,” he said.
Abdul Kassim said the contest closing date is December 12 this year.
