KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor witnessed the handing over of duty from Deputy Commissioner (DCP) Mohd Ali Tamby to DCP Victor Sanjos as the new commander of Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom).
Mohd Ali who had just replaced DCP Datuk Hamzah Ahmad on May 18 will be going to Kelantan to take over Victor’s post as Deputy Police Chief.
Victor’s appointment begins on July 3.

The brief ceremony was held at Menara Kinabalu near here today.
Also present were State Secretary Datuk Seri Sr Safar Untong, Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan, State Home Affairs and Research Secretary Datuk Awang Shahminan Awang Sahari, Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department Director Datuk Hazani Ghazali and Esscom senior officers.
