KOTA KINABALU: Sawit Kinabalu Group paid the third interim dividend payment for 2022 totaling RM11.16 million to the State Government today.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor, who is also Sawit Kinabalu Chairman, witnessed the handing over of the payment from Sawit Kinabalu Managing Director Datuk Bacho Jansie to State Secretary Datuk Seri Sr Safar Untong at the Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort and Spa here.
With the latest payment, Sawit Kinabalu Group has paid a total of RM27.9 million to the State Government for the year 2022.
The Chief Minister commended Sawit Kinabalu for being one of the high performing State GLCs and urged the Group to continue striving for excellence and contributing to Sabah’s socio-economic development.
The ceremony was held in conjunction with the Sawit Kinabalu Group’s breaking of fast. Earlier, Hajiji also chaired Sawit Kinabalu Group Board meeting.
Accompanied by Bacho and Safar, the Chief Minister also presented Sawit Kinabalu’s contributions to the Sabah Little People Association, Syukhbah Kebajikan & Kaunseling Masjid Jamek Assalam Kampung Benoni, Papar and Kadazan Dusun Murut Muslim Malaysia Society.
