KOTA KINABALU: Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Minister, Phoong Jin Zhe received a courtesy call from the China Energy International Group (CEEC) here today.
The meeting discussed how CEEC would be able to play a major role in creating greener and renewable energy in Sabah.
“With more foreign investors exploring the potential of investing in Sabah, we would need to ensure we have a consistent and stable power supply,” said Phoong in a statement.
The Minister also stressed that it is time for industries in Sabah to take a leap and look into green and renewable energy, such as energy provided through solar, wind and hydro.
Phoong also welcomes investors interested to partner with the state in producing green and renewable energy while empowering the industry.
