KOTA KINABALU: Gardenia Bakeries (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has assured consumers that food safety, hygiene and quality control remain its top priorities in all aspects of its operations.
Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Berhad (KTC) Executive Director Datuk Dexter Lau said the company took note of the statements and issues circulating on social media concerning Gardenia products, as highlighted in an official statement by Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd.
He said Gardenia Bakeries (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd were two separate business entities with different ownership and management.
“Nevertheless, we would like to assure all consumers that food safety, hygiene, quality control, as well as compliance with established standards and regulations, remain our top priorities in every aspect of our operations.
“We remain committed to ensuring that every product we produce meets the stipulated food safety and quality standards,” he said in an official statement.
He said the company valued the continued trust and support of consumers and would continue striving to uphold its commitment to providing safe and high-quality products.
