Hajiji flagging off the JABD convoy.
KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor flagged off the Sabah Drug Free Aspiration Tour (JABD) convoy comprising 150 motorcycles and eight four-wheel drive vehicles at Menara Kinabalu, here today.
Jointly organised by the National Anti-Drugs Agency, the Sabah Anti-Drugs Squad, Foodpanda and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), the JABD will be touring Sabah until September.
Aimed at raising awareness of drug abuse and the importance of a drug-free Sabah, the event would culminate on Sept 6 at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) in conjunction with Sabah Moto Day 9.0.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister also handed over a cheque replica for RM531,350 as a contribution to the EPF from the State Government for 10,627 e-hailing riders.
