Liew, accompanied by her aides, checking out the newly-completed pavement along Jalan Guamantong.
KOTA KINABALU: Api-Api Assemblywoman Datuk Seri Christina Liew took time off from her ministerial work to check out the condition of new pavements, replacing damaged ones that were an eyesore to visitors in the city.
Accompanied by her Political Secretary Vivien Lee, she visited affected areas at Kg Air, Sinsuran and Segama to ensure that everything was in order.
Shopkeepers said they were satisfied with the back alley of their premises along Jalan Perpaduan (Kg Air), Jalan Guamantong (Sinsuran) and Jalan Sugut (Segama).
“No more broken or uneven pavements to hinder mobility. Pedestrians can now move easily from one point to another. The repair works were completed under my Assemblywoman’s Fund,” Liew said after the site inspection on Friday.
