SANDAKAN: Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHAREDA) has contributed 10 rainwater harvesting tanks to the District Fire and Rescue Station (BBP)
SHAREDA in a statement today said this can greatly assist the District Fire and Rescue in both drought and rainy seasons.
Not only do the tanks provide BOMBA with a mobile supply of water, but they can also greatly assist them in the event of a fire emergency in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
The first batch of tanks was handed over to BBP Kota Kinabalu in February.
Present during the handover ceremony were SHAREDA Vice Presidents Datuk Quek Siew Hau, Wesley Chai Meng Kong and Raymond Xavier Chan Yin Hong; SHAREDA Youth Chairperson Roland Ling Leh Hiap; SHAREDA Committee / SHAREDA Nite 2024 Organising Chairperson Seth Quek Teck Seng; Fire and Rescue Sandakan Zone Chief Jasni AB. Jal; Sandakan Fire and Rescue Station Chief PKPB Severinus Sainkui; Fire Investigation Chief PKPB Jimmy Lagung; PPB Suriyadi Darwis; PPB Hairi Otuh; PBK II Salleh Bin Mulih; and PB Mohd Rafsan Zani.
