KOTA KINABALU: More than 2,000 festive goodie bags were presented by Api-Api Assemblywoman Datuk Christina Liew during her walkabout to visit the people in her constituency today in conjunction with the forthcoming Chinese New Year celebration.
She and her working team made their rounds at the Sinsuran Shopping Complex, Kg Air, Bandaran Berjaya, Segama Shopping Centre, Taman Friendly, Sunny Garden, Chong Village and Jalan Sang Kancil Housing Estate, among other areas, apart from visits to churches.

As per tradition, Liew who is also Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister extended Chinese New Year greeting cards to her constituents while engaging with them on their livelihood, problems (if any) and current affairs.
She also gave out her 2024 calendar that depicted her “turun padang” programme to hand over welfare aid to those in need, to get people to benefit from the Peka B40 healthcare scheme, and to improve the environment in the city, among other activities.
