PENAMPANG: The Kadazan Dusun Cultural Association (KDCA) Youth Council Chairman Steve Johnny Mositun, who is also Deputy President of the Kelab Komuniti Sayang Sabah has initiated a small group to help out targeted unfortunate families affected by the June 30 flood and yet to receive assistant.
Thanking all volunteers and donors involved in the initiative, he said the cleaning volunteers’ work not only creates bonding among us but also builds up leadership skills and cooperates to team up in groups while providing care for the flood victims.
“We are aware that we can’t help everyone, but together we can reach out. I thank all the involved individuals and groups who came out with the spirit of volunteering. This means Sabahans growing to be more mature.
“Having a positive mentality is what Sabahan needs to move forward while the younger generation needs to be built up through community work.”
