KOTA KINABALU: Hyatt Regency Kinabalu Head Chef Adrian Chong gave a masterclass on fresh food trends with quality Queensland beef in conjunction with the “Food Trends and A Taste of Queensland” programme here recently.
The Masterclass under the Aussie Meat Academy programme was jointly organised with the Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA), Trade Investment Queensland (TIQ) and Hyatt Regency Kinabalu, representing a significant step towards promoting Australian meat in Sabah.
It aimed to create a platform of signature beef dishes by accomplished chefs to provide local and international consumers with the opportunity to enjoy great-tasting beef to be presented in the month-long Australian meat promotion in June 2024 by participating restaurants and hotels.
During the programme on Nov 23 at the Residence, Hyatt Regency Kinabalu, Adrian, a chef from Sabah, shared his culinary experience from his recent visit to Queensland.
The initiative aims to foster and develop a community of passionate chefs utilising and creating signature beef dishes with quality Queensland beef so that locals and visitors alike can enjoy it in Sabah.
