KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor welcomed Japanese investors to Sabah, particularly in the Blue Economy sector.
Meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Malaysia Shikata Noriyuki at Sri Gaya here today, the Chief Minister said the Blue Economy offers many investment opportunities.
He said the State Government’s investor-friendly policy also opens the door to many various economic sectors for investors to explore.
Shikata is in Sabah for a three-day official visit to Sabah where he would be visiting Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and also to promote Green×Expo 2027, to be held in Yokohama, Japan.
The Ambassador was accompanied by Head of of Consular Office of Japan in Kota
Kinabalu, Yamashita Yoshito and Japanese enyoys to Malaysia.
