KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Oil and Gas Development Corporation (SOGDC) and PETRONAS PFLNG 3 Sdn Bhd have formalised their collaboration through the signing of a key agreement aimed at further strengthening Sabah’s oil and gas industry.
SOGDC was represented by its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Datuk Harun Ismail, while PETRONAS PFLNG 3 was represented by its Chief Executive Officer Azrul Roshazli Abdul Rahman and M Afiq Ahmad.
The signing ceremony was also witnessed by Sabah’s Minister of Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe and SOGDC Chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan.
Also present were PETRONAS Senior General Manager of Global Human Resources Maria Teo; incoming CEO/Managing Director of SOGDC, Azmir Ramli; as well as members of the SOGDC Board of Directors.
The collaboration is expected to create greater synergy between the state’s oil and gas agency and PETRONAS, opening more opportunities for industry players while ensuring long-term benefits for Sabah’s economy.
