CAIRO: Sabah Head of State Tun (Dr) Musa Haji Aman and his wife Toh Puan Faridah Haji Tussin arrived safely in Cairo yesterday for a four-day official visit.
The visit is held in conjunction with the Mahabbah Gathering with Sabah students in Egypt, involving almost 350 students, as well as the officiation of Dewan Al-Imam Al-Tayeb at the International Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Academy.
Upon arrival, Tun Musa and the delegation were accorded a warm welcome by Dato’ Mohd Tarid Sufian, the Malaysian Ambassador to Egypt, together with officials from the Malaysian Embassy.
Tun Musa expressed hope that the visit would be fruitful, bring meaningful benefits to Sabah students pursuing their studies in Egypt, and further strengthen cooperation and ties between Sabah and its counterparts in Egypt.
