Hajiji with the GRS Supreme Council members
KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor chaired the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Supreme Council meeting at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) here today.
It was the first GRS Supreme Council meeting chaired by Hajiji, who is also the coalition’s chairman, following the dissolution of the State Legislative Assembly and after Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) and the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) left the coalition.

Among those present were Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Acting President Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam, United Sabah National Organisation (Usno) President Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia, Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) President Datuk Chin Su Phin, Parti Cinta Sabah (PCS) President Tan Sri Anifah Aman, Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (Harapan Rakyat) Deputy President Rina Jainal and Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Deputy President Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
Also in attendance was STAR Deputy President Datuk Ellron Alfred Angin, who had earlier announced that he and four other elected representatives from his party would remain with GRS despite the party’s withdrawal.
