Leading the Sabah delegation was Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, who was joined by his deputies Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam and Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya. Also present were State Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Ariffin Mohd Arif, Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Christina Liew and Community Development and People’s Well-being Minister Datuk James Ratib.
State Secretary Datuk Seri Sr Safar Untong, State Attorney-General Datuk Brenndon Keith Soh and the Chief Minister’s Department’s Internal Affairs and Research Office Secretary Datuk Awang Shahminan Datuk Awang Sahari, were also present.
Abang Johari, together with several members of his Cabinet, extended a warm welcome to the Sabah leaders during the dinner, which served to strengthen ties between the two Borneo states.
Later, the Sarawak Premier personally sent off Hajiji and his delegation.
