KOTA KINABALU: The Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Women and Youth wings’ 36th and 37th Delegates Conference will be held at Hakka Hall, Tanjung Lipat, here, from June 27 – 29, to be officiated by party President Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili.
PBS Women Chief Datin Malianah Ugau said this year’s 36th Congress on June 28 will see delegates electing a new Executive Committee under the Women’s wing.
Both Malianah and Datin Vicky Yee have been returned uncontested as the Women Chief and Deputy Chief of the Executive Committee.
Malianah also said that the keen contests for various posts by members is a good indication that PBS is still relevant, while reminding delegates to vote for candidates with leadership qualities, integrity and possess team spirit as well as subscribing to party principles.
She also called on members to continue playing an active role and equip themselves with knowledge and skills to stay relevant.
In this respect, she reminded the delegates to fully participate in the leadership seminar organised specially for the Congress delegates on June 27.
The PBS Central Annual Delegates Conference will be held from June 30 to July 1 at the same venue and this year’s conference will see delegates electing new Supreme Council members.
The party’s Malam Bersatu for delegates will be held at the same venue on June 29.
