TUARAN: Some 400 needy families in Tamparuli, Kiulu and Tenghilan here have so far received food baskets through a charity activity by non-governmental organisation (NGO) Mitatabang Community in collaboration with the Raisul Welfare Club.
This effort was also supported by the Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS) and the Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong) which donated 100 bags of rice (5kg), 100 packs of Ovaltine, 100 packs of salt, 100 packs of noodles, 100 cans of sardines, 10,000 pieces of face masks and 5 cartons of snacks.
