KOTA KINABALU: The Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) Wiramuda (youth) movement welcomes Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Mokhtar Radin’s recent statement expressing Sabah UMNO’s commitment to the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Government.
STAR Wiramuda Chief, Rizal J Utto, applauds Bung’s statement because it shows the commitment of the GRS Government in serving the people of Sabah.
“The GRS Government was chosen by the Sabahan people and thus, it is our responsibility to fulfill our duties and deliver our campaign promises to the Sabahan people.
“We do not wish to be embroiled with the ongoing politicking affairs in Peninsular but we have to take care of our State and our people because the Covid 19 pandemic is still at a threatening level,” said Rizal in a statement today.
He said what Sabah needs is a stable political environment so that the State Government can implement its objectives as per Sabah Maju Jaya blueprint and overcome the Covid 19 situation in Sabah.
“I appeal to all sides to put the interests of our State and our people first instead of personal agendas.
“Together, let us steer Sabah out of this pandemic and to greater heights,” he said.
